Matt Garicia

Matt Garcia (pictured above, center) works transportation for Mt. Bachelor during the winter and Sun Country Tours in the summer. He got his start accidentally, by mistakenly filling out a commercial driver license application instead of a standard one when he returned to Oregon after being away for school and work.

The most unusual job I’ve ever had is wearing the "Woodsy the Owl" costume during school assemblies.

My latest work win is finding extra pens on the bus.

I appreciate promptness in my coworkers.

I want to give a shout-out to COACH!

Rob Gilmore

Rob Gilmoreis a senior producer and editor at Outside TV. He’s been with the Emmy award-winning media company for four years, but says his career actually began in high school when he and a friend started a local, live-event production company. But it was post college when his career really took off and he started working with many of the major national cable channels. Working with Outside TV allows Rob to combine his passion for storytelling with his love for the outdoors.

Mason Tuor

Mason Tuor is the assistant retail buyer for Gravity Sports at POWDR’s Mt. Bachelor. Known to some as Lord of the Board, Tuor has only missed two seasons during his 15 year stint with the resort. After starting in the rental shop, Tuor’s infatuation with winter gear and interest in retail business exploded and led him to pursue a full time role as the buyer for the retail outlet.

Alena Han

Alena Rose Han is the event logistics coordinator at Human Movement Management, POWDR’s esteemed events and programming division in Louisville, Colorado. Known to friends and family as Alan, LOR, and Mom, Han has been with POWDR for two years. Her tenure began with back-to-back internships and she quickly moved into event and race direction. In the past two years, Han has been to every single HMM event.

The best part of my job? All of the places I get to travel to with some of my greatest friends. Working on new, very exciting events. Also....all the dogs in the office!

Jake Kinney

Jake Kinney is the action sports and camp director at Woodward West in Tehachapi, California. A former pro mountain biker, he first visited Woodward West while traveling for events. Years later, he landed a job in the mountain-bike program. Now a six-year POWDR employee, Kinney loves to motivate the next generation of active outdoor kids.

The best part of my job is seeing the joy that Woodward brings to kids and families. Working as the Action Sports director and helping with camp operations I wake up feeling blessed every day.
